Millennial vs Gen Z Ads: I Tested the Trend, and It Lost on Every Book
You've seen the "Millennial vs Gen Z" ads all over your feed — polished marketing pitch on one side, unhinged Gen Z reaction ("bro is FERAL, it's giving one-bed energy") on the other. After He's-a-10 earned its spot in my rotation, I tested this one the same way: real budget, three different KU romance books, head-to-head against my other static ads.
The verdict: it lost on every book. More expensive per sale/borrow across all three — about 36% more on one title — and the clicks cost more too. Great as a meme on your own page; as a paid ad to sell books, it underperformed my normal creative every time. How long does it take Amazon Attribution data to mature?
